COFFEE FOR SPANISH PEOPLE

Coffee for spanish people

We all know that most people need a cup of coffee as soon as we wake up, but for the Spanish people coffee is a complement for the day to day, as soon as we wake up we think about the cup of coffee before going to college or work and when we finish lunch we have a coffee for dessert.

Many of us like the aroma and taste of coffee and others like the effect of caffeine, a psychoactive substance that relaxes us in stressful situations. Thanks to this, Madrid has many coffee shops as well as bars that serve coffee in the mornings and afternoons, selling 14,000 million cups of coffee a year.

The most common type of coffee served in Madrid is the "Expreso con Leche" (espresso with milk) because the coffee in Madrid has a strong taste so they drink it with milk to soften it a little. If you come to Madrid you are sure to drink a lot of coffee or at least try it!
